This occurs when one or more of the fonts that come with Hallmark Card Studio 2006 are not installed properly. Typically, this happens when the A056013T.TTF font is installed on the computer before installing Card Studio 2006. To correct this issue, you will need to uninstall the software, remove this font and reinstall the software.
- Click on the Start button.
- Open the Control Panel.
- Double-click on Add/Remove Programs.
- When the Add/Remove Programs window opens, scroll through the list and locate the Hallmark Card Studio 2006 software. Click on it once to highlight it. Then, click on the Remove button to uninstall the software. Follow the directions provided.
- After the program has been uninstalled, close all open windows.
- Open the Control Panel.
- Double-click on the Fonts folder.
- In the Fonts window, there should be a font labeled “URWAlcuinT (TrueType)” (or filename “A056013T.TTF”). Right-click on the “URWAlcuinT (TrueType)” and select the Delete option from the pop-up menu.
- After the font has been deleted, close all open windows.
- Insert disk 1 for the Hallmark Card Studio 2006 software.
- Click on the Install button and follow the installation directions to install.
After the program has been reinstalled, Hallmark Card Studio 2006 should display the text properly as designed.
