Yes. Clip art from one version of Hallmark Card Studio can be used in another version. The clip art images cannot be used in other software, though.

To do this, you need to have both versions of Hallmark Card Studio installed on the same computer. Here is an example using Hallmark Card Studio 2007 & 2008:

  1. Launch the older Hallmark Card Studio.
  2. Click on Birthdays.
  3. Select and open one of the projects.
  4. Click on the Art Studio button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.
  5. Click on the Clip Art button in the upper left-hand side of the screen.
  6. Select and insert one of the clip art images into the project.
  7. Click once on the image so it is highlighted.
  8. Click the Copy button on the right-hand side of the screen.
  9. Minimize or close the older Hallmark Card Studio.
  10. Launch the newer Hallmark Card Studio.
  11. Open a project you wish to insert the image into.
  12. Click on the Art Studio button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.
  13. Click on the Paste button on the right-hand side of the screen.

From here, you can resize or reposition the clip art image as needed.
