The Event Planner reminders are disabled by default in Hallmark Card Studio 2006. To enable the reminders:

  1. Launch the Hallmark Card Studio 2006 software.
  2. Click the Event Planner option at the top of the screen.
  3. On the Event Planner screen, click the Options button.
  4. In the Check for Reminders section switch it from Never to either At Startup or At Startup and Time. Specify the Time if necessary.
  5. Click the OK button.
  6. Close the Event Planner and Hallmark Card Studio 2006.

Note: The At Startup option will only check for reminders when your computer reboots. If you turn off your computer every night, this should be fine. If you leave your computer on for several days in a row, you will want to choose the At Startup and Time option. This will have the program check every time the computer reboots and also at the time that was specified.
