This could be related to a couple of different issues. Please verify that the program’s shortcut/icon is not set to Compatibility mode. To check that:

  1. Right-click the shortcut/icon used to launch the Hallmark Card Studio program.
  2. Select the Properties option from the pop-up menu.
  3. Click the Compatibility tab. Remove the check mark from the box that states “Run this program in compatibility mode for:”
  4. Click the OK button.

If the Compatibility mode was not checked, then this issue is related to a problem caused by something outside of the software. We have seen this issue related to both Norton Antivirus and Logitech cameras. Typically, the solution involves having the ATL71.DLL file recreated. You may need to contact Norton or Logitech for assistance.
