This is a known issue with the program. The developers are currently working on an update to correct this issue.

In the meantime, there is a simple way to work around this issue. The crash will only occur if you click on the Art Studio button immediately after launching Hallmark Card Studio 2012. To work around this, simply click on one of the categories, such as Birthdays, and then go back to the Home screen before clicking on the Art Studio. For example:

  1. Launch Hallmark Card Studio 2012
  2. Click on Birthdays
  3. Click on the Home button
  4. Click on the Art Studio button
