If you have the remaining Event Planner files from the prior version on your computer, you can manually import that information in Hallmark Card Studio's Event Planner. However, if you have removed your prior version of Hallmark Card Studio, it may be that you have removed the Event Planner information, as well.
Please try the following:
- Close out all versions of the Hallmark Card Studio, if any are running.
- Browse to the installation folder for your prior version of Hallmark Card Studio. For example, if the installation folder is in C:\Program Files\Sierra, you would do the following:
- Double-click the My Computer icon that is found on either your Desktop or the Start menu.
- Double-click the C: drive.
- Double-click the Program Files folder.
- Double-click the Sierra folder. You will now see the files.
- Click the first PLANR32 file so it becomes highlighted. When that is highlighted, hold down your Control (CTRL) key and click the second PLANR32 file. After both are highlighted, you can release the Ctrl key.
- Right-click one of the highlighted files and select the Copy option from the pop-up menu.
- Close this window.
- Double-click the My Computer icon that is found on either your Desktop or the Start menu.
- Double-click on the C:\ drive
- Double-click on the Documents and Settings folder.
- Double-click on the All Users folder.
- Double-click on the Application Data folder.
Note: If the Application Data folder does not display, go to the Tools menu and select the Folder Options. Click on the View tab. Select the "Show hidden files and folders" option and then click OK. You should now see the Application Data folder.
- Double-click on the Creative Home folder.
- Double-click on the Hallmark Card Studio 2006 folder.
- Double-click on the Planner folder.
- Right-click in the blank area of this window and select the Paste option from the pop-up menu. If you receive a warning asking if you want to replace an existing file, click the Yes or Yes to All buttons.
- Open the Event Planner to verify that the information shows up correctly.
