Hallmark Card Studio 2007 will automatically import information from prior versions of Card Studio. This will occur the first time that you launch the Event Planner from Hallmark Card Studio 2007.

  1. Click the Event Planner at the top of the screen. You will see a message: “An existing Event Planner installation has been found. Would you like to import your events and contacts?”
  2. Click the Yes button. You should now see a window that states: “The following Event Planner installations were found. Please select the installation from which to import data.”
  3. In the window, you may see more than one item. Select the one that has the most recent information in it. This is typically the latest version of the program that was already installed on the computer.
  4. Click the Finish button.
  5. You should now see a window that states: “Your data has been imported successfully.” Click the OK button. This will bring up the Event Planner window.
