This is due to the shortcut for the program being set to a compatibility mode for a prior version of Windows. We have only had this problem reported on computers that are running either Windows XP or Windows 2000. To correct this:

  1. Right-click the shortcut/icon used to launch the Hallmark Card Studio program.
  2. Select the Properties option from the pop-up menu.
  3. Click the Compatibility tab.
  4. Remove the check mark from the box that states “Run this program in compatibility mode for:”
  5. Click the OK button.
